I have actually been pretty happy with the D so far considering basically half of them are new comers and learning the system (Clague, Anderson, Maata; and Roy and Walker are just Sophomores). Also, I believe the odd man rushes to be a systemic issue that needs to be addressed by the coaching staff. Something happening that often is a hole is the system. Quick has stood on his head, looks great, and has bailed us out of a few bad situations/odd man rushes. And with the new lines for the forward group, players are where they should be and we are finally having success resulting in goals and points. So far, it’s been fun to watch a competitive Kings team. |
